Delicious !!! The waitresses are always very friendly. During the Corona time it is really easy to pick up your favorite food. This company is very customer-oriented! Great praise for how you comply with the Corona restrictions and master the current situation with confidence, RESPECT!

We are "serial offenders"! And we stay that way, because the dishes are not yet "Germanized". Large selection, decent portions and quick preparation even at peak times. The multilingual wait staff (mostly German, English, Spanish) are attentive, know the dishes (since we always try something different, we ask a lot ...), special requests are also implemented. Always consistently good quality so far. If you like to have a lot of peace, you are unfortunately wrong here at peak times. It's especially loud in the large adjoining room / winter garden, but we're happy to accept that.

Nice specials with 2 for 1 drinks many days of the week. Service is slow - very slow, they get easily overwhelmed with large tables. Not enough menus, there is a common practice of giving 1 menu per 3 ppl, and not giving enough time for people to look trough the menus, as there is very little amounts to go around. ... Took 20 min to order my drink - the service is pretty slow, I am not sure if it is the waiters themselves or if they are under staffed The waitress was very overwhelmed with the orders, the runner was not loud when bringing food out so he was giving the food to the wrong people and people were eating each others food because of that. ENCHILADA APPETISER - i got mine with ground beef, the sauce tasted pretty nice and the appetiser was fulfilling. Nothing different than a regular plain enchilada here, i did appreciate that they had it with ground beef MOLE ENCHILADA- this is my go to when at a Mexican place. I got it with cheese and onion In the end of the day the order taking and the food took so long that we were basically full of chips by the time we got any food. OVERALL THEIR FOOD IS GOOD, but only come here with plenty of time to wait around for the service

Hit and miss. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. We had the four taco plate, which took over 45 minutes to be served. The service wasn't too attentive either. The tortillas used for the tacos seemed to be old and were kind of chewy, leathery. The burrito from the special, which we ordered to go, was really good though.

Really good food and nice atmosphere

The restaurant was very nicely decorated shortly before Halloween. The Corona concept is implemented very well. The card is a little chaotic, so it took us a little longer to order. The starter (nachos with cheese) for 2 people was almost a main course. The service was super attentive and everything ordered came very quickly. The main course was really very, very fine. Conclusion: great food and not even expensive We couldn't order the dessert anymore, we were just too full for that 🙂

After being very disappointed at Cantina Mexicana at Christmas, I gave the restaurant another chance and I have to say I was not disappointed again. Food and dessert were absolutely delicious, and the staff was very friendly. More visits will definitely follow.

Mega brilliant food, absolutely friendly staff. I have seldom eaten so good Mexican. Just perfect. Why do I still subtract a star? Unfortunately, our table was not free despite a reservation and the staff were unable to find an alternative. On the contrary, another group that was the same size, but after we arrived, was brought to a table before us. We had to wait for our table first in the cold, then in the passage for a total of 20 minutes.

Authentic Mexican restaurant close to Ramstein US Airforce base. For starters we went for the Tamales which were homemade and tasted delicious. Main course: ribs were soft and tasty. The Cantina Changa wasn’t too greasy as it was fried, and was served rice, salad and beans. The Burrito Chorizo was spicy but tasted amazing. There was plenty of fillings to go with my meat Fajitas and portion size was good. Save some room for the amazing deep fried ice cream - Helado Frito. Crunchy outside with delicious vanilla ice cream inside drizzled with honey. Very friendly atmosphere with attentive service. Bookings are recommended as can sometimes get very busy. Would recommend if you’re in the mood for some tasty Mexican cuisine.

Esta muy bien! Authentic mexican restaurant with a robust menu. Todos las comidas son deliciosos. Margs were also large and yummy. All customer service was fabuloso but our server Sophia from Morocco was la major de todos. We are so happy and full. All other mexican food in this area do not compare. EAT HERE.

We got there a little after lunch time. They sat us outside. It took about 10 minutes before we were greeted for drinks. We ordered everything at that moment since we had more things to do for the day. Our drinks came fairly quickly after ordering. Then we got the chips and salsa about 10 to 15 mins later. Our appetizer came out about 30 mins after that. It was just the cheese, guacamole, and bean dip. So after an hour other than our food coming out, we hadn't had a refill on our drinks and the server had not been by. Not to mention we were sitting outside and getting dive bombed by bees the entire time. Finally I went in to ask where our food was. The server said they would check. A few mins later they brought out our food except for my husbands. I waited a few mins and went back in. They had not even made his. By this time we had been here over 2 hours. I asked for the check. The server did talk to the manager. They did take off the tacos and give us a gift certificate for free ones and took off the beer. I'm not sure if this was a fluke but I highly doubt we go back.

It's an American-style restaurant with a Mexican theme. So American-Mexican and has almost nothing to do with Mexican food! It would be the same as if someone in the USA baked a Black Forest cake that is completely different from the one here in Germany. That's what I call adulterated food! You can do that, but the trick is to make it as close and almost the same as it is done in Mexico. Unfortunately, the Cantina mexicana is very far from that. The quality of the food speak for itself! I get really good steaks somewhere else than what they offer here. Mexico has over 600 menus and some of them are so easy to make that are not offered here and so. E.g. Tacos! Tacos de carne (meat) are the following served in Mexico. There are corn tortillas or wheat tortillas, which would be discussed with the customer beforehand, the meat is normal pork, which is cooked and fried in its own lard. It is fatty and lean pork that is then minced with a chopping knife and served in a bowl. The amount e.g. 250, 500 gr or 1 kg (depending on the number of people) is placed on the table. In addition, the warm tortillas are placed in a warm container as much as is necessary and the customer asks for his order. Then there are at least 3 to 5 different bowls of salsa, which are freshly cut and put together with a lot or less chilli. The customer is asked whether he wants very hot, mild hot or very little or no hot. Corresponding is served. Also very important with the meat (pork preparation is also Querito (fried pork skin). And sliced ​​limes are always included with every taco. Salt and pepper are always ready on the table. Now when everything is on the table, The customer makes his own taco. He determines how much he puts in the tortilkas and how much and which salsa he is in the mood for. He simply rolls them up and these tacos are all only eaten by hand. I give this place 4 stars mainly because of the food. This is by far the best tasting Mexican restaurant I have eaten since I left my hometown. They use different spices to flavor their food. The service was not the best but we would go back because the food is delicious.

I recently visited the Cantina Mexicana and enjoyed the food and drinks, nothing was absurdly overpriced, but the place was very busy and we suffered painfully slow service and had to ask several times for our beers to be brought out. We also ate outside and had about 6 - 7 bees bother us throughout the entire course of our meal. Do i regret going there? No. Would i go back? The odds are slim.
